Starting in my early 60s I began researching and posting about senior fitness here on my blog under the rubric of β€œAging Gracefully.” 😊

Now, less than a year and a half to 70, checking my Garmin fitness tracker my kids gave me for Christmas, I was reminded this morning on a walk back home how just stepping steady and consistently brought me well in range of intensity levels recommended for my age to strengthen my heart.

The formula, at healthiak.com is explained here and is adjusted by age and gender. And here’s a Google search for heart rate zone calculators in general for more options πŸ™‚
