Port Harmon in Stephenville, NL

Going back in time to a few years ago at Port Harmon in Stephenville, Newfoundland; these photos were taken minutes before a rain storm. I love the beach there and I especially love the way the skies were painted with every hue of blue and grey.  Bay St. George is a very deep bay on the west coast of the island of Newfoundland. Port Harmon was a once busy harbour and remains an important feature of the town. Stephenville grew substantially when the Americans built a base there during the Second World War.  From time to time I will share a few photos of my native province.  I hope you will enjoy them.
