Drove from Ambleside and parked at New Dungeon Ghyll. Arrived prepared with lots of change because the charge for the day is currently £8 in coins.
The first full day of this year’s May sojourn to the Lakes dawned a tad on the damp side; therefore not many photos of rain hitting fells with me in the middle. Pleased to have completed the remaining climbs which make up the Langdale Pikes because they have been on the ‘to do’ list for a while.

Top of Harrison Stickle – upon descending the summit, a lady declared she had ‘lost’ her husband on the top! Retracing his steps, Mr JH found the disorientated husband and returned him safely to his very grateful wife.
