The Hollywood Brown Derby – Disney Hollywood Studios (Part II)

The Hollywood Brown Derby is one of the restaurants that we have wanted to try at Disney World for awhile. Every time I have made a reservation for this restaurant we have changed it for one reason or another. We almost changed it again at the last minute but we are so glad we didn’t.

Cocktails to start lunch. When in Disney why not? It was part of our Deluxe Dining Plan that we could have 2 drinks at each meal. The first was a Manhattan. Delicious and STRONG!

The second was a Old Fashioned. Both drinks were perfect for the restaurant as they had that old timed mad man feel about them.

I ordered the Pan Seared Scallops with Sweet-and-Spicy Zellwood Creamed Corn and a Salted Cod Fritter. I love scallops and this was amazing! I wanted to lick the plate.

Disney Hollywood Studio – Day 3 (Part I)

Toy Story Land has now been opened just a year and we are finally getting to see it! It was so wonderful! All the pieces are bright, bold, toys. Primary colors dominate with hits of orange and green. Larger than life toys make you feel like you are one of the toys in the play land.

As you walk in you see the Slinky Dog Roller Coaster roar by you  as Jessie and Rex are overhead.

It was a SUPER hot day in Disney Hollywood Studios and there is almost no shade. Every once in awhile there are little green umbrellas but people were squeezing into the shade of the giant Pixar ball to get some relief from the hot sun.

We fortunately had Fastpasses for Alien Swirl. Slink Dog Fastpasses go first and they were completely out of them by the time I got our passes. I am glad…

Festival of Fantasy Parade Day 2 Magic Kingdom (Part II)

After our delicious lunch at The Plaza restaurant we took a stroll by Cinderella Castle. I love this view so much. I never tire of taking pictures of all the views of the castle.

We had a fastpass for “Under the Sea- Journey of the Little Mermaid” a bit later in the afternoon so after checking the My Disney Experience (MDE) app and seeing that some of the shows in Frontierland had little to no wait we headed in that direction.
