The theme for this week’s article is drawn from Psalms 121:2
‘My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.’ (NIV)
Verse one however says;
‘I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from?’
Lifting his head towards the mountains, David asked the question above. ‘Mountains’ as used here could mean; human authorities, the arm of flesh, connections, oppressors etc. He however declared boldly in the second verse that his help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Remember the Bible says in Jeremiah 17:5 that; cursed is any man who puts his trust in another man.
