I’ve always thought that video making could be a very effective tool in teaching, in particular in teaching a language. It can help any student to break the ice, to get used to the impact you have, when you shift to a language which is not your own. Being able to say, even a few words, before a camera, cannot but build one’s confidence and teach anybody to fsce their natural shyness. My greatest obstacle had always been, actually, to find a group of student daring enough to do it. Maybe I was a step ahead of my times, as, when I started prosoping this kind of effort, the reaction I received was always the same: ” You must be jocking“? I was not, but looking at those incredulous eyes, I didn’t feel like exposing those adolescents and the insecurities of their age on a video, so I did…

Seeing as how it’s Comic-Con week I feel like indulging in a little speculation and fun with some different fandoms.

I love the X-Men despite what a disaster they’ve been recently so I decided on the Top 10 Mutants I most want Marvel to include and a little bit of speculation where and with who  I think they’d fit best.

To be honest I see most of them coming in as villains at least at first!

We started the day with 8:00 am breakfast Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) at Tusker House. They were opening the park early to hotel guests even though it was not an Extra Magic Hour (EMH) day. We walked in at 7:20 am to head to our ADR. As we passed Pandora the cast members were saying that the “Flights of Passage” already had a three-hour wait! Thankful that we got FassPasses for The Navi River Journey later that morning and didn’t plan on riding Flights of Passage.

We were checked in to Tusker House at 7:55 am and seated at 8:02. It was wonderful being one of the first people into the restaurant. When my son was in 7th grade he played Scar in the Lion King Jr. Since that time we have watched, listened to, or have gone to see the touring show many times. This will be on our list to go see this weekend. Will you be seeing this?

Every review I have read said the cinematography is the best part of the movie. I cannot wait to see it!

I think the sky painter was in fine form today, don’t you think?  This beautiful sunrise reminded me of an ethereal painting.  It looks so other worldly.
