Where waters tide
‘Round canyons
Carved by time
And ice,
Other canyons
Rise
Man-made
To tickle skies.
Where greenery
Respite to
Millions
Provides,
Sleep memories
Of others
Who used to there
Reside.
Where footfalls mask
The horns of cars
And rustles hold
More sway,
There breathes the city
That like me
Many call home
Today.
I was having a wonderful day. I was in a wonderful mood. Until towards the end of my shift.
Nothing annoys me more when some little dick starts making trouble and thinks I will take it because I am customer service. That I will smile be polite while he is as rude as fuck.

If I am polite while I am taking orders, I expect my customer to be polite. I will not tolerate bullshit! However if I was being a bitch then yes, he can be an asshole. However, I was being polite.

Step up on a soul shaking stir,to free the mind, to realize the calm that actually is this moment.
Make this moment beautiful. Have a beautiful day!
Savvy

Late into the night
when sleep does not come
my mind wanders freely
until it is done
Gives me the words
that I pluck from the air
and fashion to paper
with rhythm and flair

Sometimes the muse abandons us in our quest to create. We say we are going through a desert, devoid of ideas, lacking inspiration, bereft of dreams. There is life if you are observant. To avoid the heat animals burrowing underground where the earth is cooler. They alter their lifestyle by adopting nocturnal habits. Plants develop spines for protection, deep roots to connect to life-sustaining moisture in the soil, and tough skin to prevent water evaporation.
We must do the same to access the gems we seek. The desert requires us to reach into our core for the gold we pursue. We adjust our procedures, struggling to attain the seeds that spark creation. The amazing thing is the work pays big dividends providing us with things we never imagined. We uncover rich beauty.
Where do you find unexpected beauty?

For all students, graduation day is a special day everyone is looking forward to, the symbol of all your accomplishments through out the years of studies, a day where family, friends and professors come together to celebrate your big achievement. However, due to the outbreak of Covid-19, a number of institutions and colleges have called of their graduation ceremonies, my institution also had to cancel our graduation ceremony. The class of 2020 jokingly called class of Covid-19 will never forget their graduation experience.
It was on the 8th of April 2020 when I received an email with the subject: “Important information, collect your graduation document.” When I saw that, I told myself this is it girl you have graduated. Four years of hard work, never missed a deadline, did my very best and gave my all, everyday looking forward to the day I walk that…

Staying home during the pandemic has been very challenging for everyone. We have to find ways to use our time wisely and creatively. I have had good self-discipline with my favorite educational activities – reading and writing. Not so much with my favorite recreational activities – cooking and eating.
