Baked Smoky Mountain Chicken

Baked in the oven, sprinkled with herbs and covered in cheese and bacon! Can Chicken taste any better? If you are not crazy about the white meat on a chicken, like me, then you really need to try this one!

Ingredients

Spray an 8” or 9” baking dish with cooking oil.

Sprinkle the Italian seasonings, garlic powder,

salt and pepper onto both sides of the chicken.

Bake in a preheated oven for about 25 minutes

or until the thickest part of each chicken breast

is 165 degrees. This is very important as chicken

has different thicknesses. I took the small pieces

out 10 minutes before the thick pieces, otherwise they

would have been over cooked and dry. Check the

temperature of each piece frequently and remove

each piece when 165 degrees then keep warm

until they are all cooked properly.
