The Durango airport is a regional one, not the smallest I’ve ever flown into but close; it was perfect for us and was closer for us as we stayed in Pagosa Springs. We didn’t have to drive several hours like we would have if flying into Denver. Durango is a neat town and the start of the narrow gauge railroad that runs up to Silverton and back. We didn’t ride the train but we did stop by the museum. It is free to explore and has lots of neat things including a really cool miniature with several trains and a tiny model of a drive-in theater. I thought it was really cool. The museum is in half of the round house that houses the train when it is not in use.

It was our last full day in Catania and we decided to spend the morning in Acireale, six miles north east of the city. We travelled there by train taking just 10 minutes with return fares €5 each.  On arrival in Acireale station we discovered that it was located 3km out of town. I don’t know why so many of Sicily’s stations are located so far from the town centre but it took us 20 minutes to reach the old town along a main road,

1, Pagan festivals break up the year into smaller sections, so we always have a fun celebration to prepare for. This month it is Lammas, or Lughnasadh, the first harvest festival.

2, Pagan festivals usually involve lots of dancing and merriment, and who doesn’t love the opportunity to meet up with friends, have a good catch up, and dance the night away? If dancing isn’t your thing, you can sit on the sidelines and observe the party, or chat to other people. You need never be alone.

3, I mentioned the party element of pagan celebrations, but did I mention the food? Each festival revolves around having a drink (traditionally mead, but whatever you prefer is fine), and eating lots of home cooked food. “Cakes and ale” is a traditional reference to pagan festivals, because we usually bake cakes and bread, and either brew our own ale, or…

October is the month of the witch. Whilst many people are preparing for fun on the night of Halloween, with trick or treating, fancy dress and lots of chocolate and candy on the agenda, witches are already embracing the darker nights and shadowy days.

1, Connect with your ancestors, and give thanks for their legacy. We feel the veil thinning. This is the ethereal layer that separates life and death, and during October we feel a closer connection with our ancestors and those we have lost. We might hold a séance and ask for our ancestors to speak using divination. We might consult the Tarot or visit a medium for guidance. Or we might simply sit in silent contemplation at the graveside or in front of a photograph of the person we miss.

Courage to be different…what’s that mean ?

Have you ever had a really boring and depressing conversation with someone? Did anyone ever told you to change yourself? Because they think you are too shy, you are too frank and your dressing style are too different. And did anyone ever suggest you, how to talk, how to walk, which type of clothes you should wear. I think everyone has these type of short stories when they had faced these type of questions. I don’t think so this should be happen.

Everyone is different. Everyone has own unique qualities. Why should I become one of them. Everything start with courage. Try to be yourself . Being yourself means remove all the characters and changes influenced by others which we placed on ourself. It is who we naturally are without the fake mask to impress others.
